TITLE: NAIST GeoAI Project: Grounding Text onto Map

ABSTRACT:
I will introduce NAIST GeoAI Project.
This project aims to develop new technologies by integrating AI and Geographic Information Science.
In the first step, we will connect between “text” and “map” for augmenting maps with textual information.
Specifically, we will develop a system that reads the described trajectory (traveling path) that a person followed and grounds it onto a map.
In this talk, I will explain the overview and the current progress of this project.
