TITLE:
Spectral Analysis Using a Replica Exchange Monte Carlo Method Based on Bayesian Inference

ABSTRACT:
Many studies using Bayesian inference have been remarkably extended using high computing techniques and are now standard. I have applied Bayesian inference to various spectra such as optical absorption, photoluminescence and X-ray absorption. From these experiences, I believe that Bayesian inference is the useful method because not only the parameters (the physical properties) of measured spectra, but also their physical model can be statistically evaluated using only the measured data. This talk will present research on making semi-automating Replica Exchange Monte Carlo (RXMC) sampling used in Bayesian inference and the result of applying it to gate-modulated (GM) spectra measured in a pentacene organic field-effect transistor.
