Title: Application of Machine Learning to Materials Sciences

Abstract:
In this lecture, we discuss how to design materials and molecules automatically by machine learning. The general framework of Bayesian optimization is introduced. We show individual studies about de novo molecule generation and thermal radiator design as well as application of a quantum annealer to materials design
