TITLE: 

Brief Guidelines to Develop Alloy-Based Electrocatalysts and Metal Oxide Photocatalysts toward Artificial Photosynthetic CO2 Reduction to Form CO

Abstract:

Taking the electrocatalysis and photocatalysis to reduce CO2 to CO as examples, brief guidelines to develop alloy-based electrocatalysts and metal oxide photocatalysts are explained. And then, the important factors for the material designs are interpreted based on the experiment and quantum chemical calculation results. I would appreciate it if the interpretation could help to improve discussions to merge experimental and computational approaches in material designs and developments.
