Title: Application of Data Science in the Fields of Materials and Processes – From Machine Learning to Generative Models

Abstract:
In recent years, the significance of Materials Informatics and Process Informatics, employing data science to the materials and processes, has intensified with the objective of enhancing efficiency in the exploration of novel materials and research and development. In this backdrop, techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, generative models, and multimodal deep learning AI have been drawing increased attention. The goal of this lecture is to share varied examples of these technologies and discuss what we should learn for our future.
